​Welcome to Mountain High Kennels.

We raise quality AKC Rottweilers and Sheltand Sheepdogs  in our home as part of our large, loving family. 
Temperament is our main focus within our dogs/breeding program along side health and conformation.
We health test our dogs to assure we offer healthy, happy, loving  puppies to your family. Our Rottweilers have OFA hips, elbows, full dentition, and JLPP. Our Shelties have a full genetic health panel completed that includes DM, MDR1, VWD3, CEA, CNGA1, PRA, and DMS.
Results are posted on the dogs' individual pages with their certifications or are otherwise noted as " pending results"

We have reduced our breeding program of our Rottweilers after careful consideration and some family changes. We will have a few co owned litters available coming up once or twice a year moving forward. We will still offer beautiful, happy, healthy Rottweiler babies to families but will be available on a much more limited availability. We hope to continue blessing families with amazing companions.
We are shifting our breeding program primarily to our Sheltand Sheepdogs aka Shelties starting in 2024. We will be offering Shelties of "toy/undersized" true to the original peerie dog size up to the smaller but within standards of 13-14". Our Shelties are primarily AKC registered but in an effort to preserve our foundational bloodline, we will also have some CKC registered puppies in the future as well. .

Please note: We are NOT a business, we breed more as a hobby and for the love of the breed. If you come to pick out your puppy, or pick up your puppy, you're coming to our HOME. 

  Our puppies are whelped and raised in our home as part of our family. We do NOT hire outside help to care for our dogs as breeding has become a family joy that myself as well as husband and children enjoy taking part in. Having five children myself, I understand how important the temperament of any dog can be, especially a Rottweiler. This is the reason why I allow my children to assist in the care and upbringing of all our puppies. 

 Puppies are exposed to all household noises, as well as a variety of surfaces and interact with my children on a daily basis to insure they are confident upon leaving our home. Every puppy leaves with a health guarantee. I offer lifetime breeder support to your family. When you purchase a puppy from us, you become a part of our extended family. You are not just a "puppy buyer" so please take the commitment seriously. Our Rottweiler puppies will  have their tails docked and dew claws removed by our vet at 3-4 days old. Shetland Sheepdog puppies will have their rear dew claws removed.  Every litter is raised on a consistent de-worming schedule, they all receive their first veterinary check-up, their first vaccinations and microchip prior to leaving my home at eight weeks old. We do send our puppies home with a puppy starter pack that will include food, toys, treats, blanket with mom/littermates scent, and chew bone.
Shipping is available at an additional charge. We offer transport rather it be meeting partway, out of state or delivery to your front door.
