Our AKC/CKC Shetland Sheepdogs are the "British Type" being smaller than the average thick boned American Shelties.
Although Toy sized Shelties or Shelties of UK type are not officially recognized by the AKC as a separate breed yet (only a matter of time), we have chosen this petite version of the sheltie to fit into our lifestyle. Our dogs are AKC and/or CKC registered.
The toy shelties we raise are, in fact, the original size shelties that were developed in the Shetland Islands, also known as "Peerie Dogs".

Toy-sized shelties are bred primarily for companionship and MUST have temperament and personality as a top priority, second only to excellent health. We are proud to offer puppies from health tested parents. Our shelties are not only the perfect lap size dog, but also offer outstanding temperaments.
You can expect our Undersized Sheltie puppies from us to mature between 10"-12.5" tall.
We now have standard sized Shelties too! Puppies are expected to mature 13-14.5" tall.
